The Steelers got on the board at the start of the second quarter with a 47-yard Shaun Suisham field goal, to close the gap to 14-3. The field goal drive was setup by a Troy Polamalu interception, his first of the season.
It looked like the Steelers were going to come up with another turnover on a punt, but an illegal touch allowed the Raiders to maintain possession.
The Raiders offense took advantage, marching down the field for a four-yard touchdown by Darren McFadden on a direct snap for a 21-3 lead.
Cortez Allen intercepted Pryor, giving the Steelers a shot to get on the board before the half. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger drove the offense down to the 16-yard line, but Suisham’s 34-yard field goal went wide right.
At halftime it’s Raiders 21, Steelers 3.
