DeCastro impressed by Bell

Posted by Teresa Varley on August 12, 2013 – 1:56 pm

While fans were anxious to see what rookie running back Le’Veon Bell could do in game, guard David DeCastro thought it was the right move to have him sit against the Giants with his sore knee.

“I have seen a little bit of what he can do in training camp and it’s impressive,” said DeCastro. “I want him to be healthy for the season. We have a long road ahead of us. You don’t want to risk anything now for a preseason game.”

sitting bell was the right thing to do. he will have plenty of time to play when he is 100%. after all he is going to be rookie of the year.
