Steelers practice update – 11/1

Posted by Teresa Varley on November 1, 2012 – 3:31 pm

The Steelers were without RB Baron Batch (shin), T Marcus Gilbert (ankle), S Troy Polamalu (calf), and LBs Stevenson Sylvester (hamstring) and LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) at practice on Thursday, but running back Jonathan Dwyer (quadriceps) was back on the field in a limited role.

Running back Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) also practiced in a limited role, while S Ryan Clark (concussion), LB Brandon Johnson (hamstring) and RB Isaac Redman (ankle) were full participants for the second straight day.

Glad to see Redman and Dwyer in the backfield. If the Giant’s run defense is as good as it was against Washington. The running game will have a third 100 yard rusher. Our offensive line has played extremely well in the last two games.

We are in trouble. Without Woodly we will not be able to generate pass rush and with only 2 backs healthy they will wear out. giants 41 Steelers13

All we can do is play our best.and let all of our wounded rest.
For all the giants that come to play. let them know we were here today. And in the end we’ll stand tall.
