Harrison, Miller and Polamalu miss practice

Posted by Teresa Varley on September 20, 2012 – 3:23 pm

Linebacker James Harrison (knee), tight end Heath Miller (abdomen) and safety Troy Polamalu (calf) were among the five players who didn’t practice on Thursday. Also not practicing were tackle Mike Adams (back) and quarterback Byron Leftwich (illness).

Back on the field on Thursday were running back Jonathan Dwyer (toe), tackle Marcus Gilbert (groin) and wide receivers Emmanuel Sanders (knee) and Mike Wallace (groin). Linebacker Stevenson Sylvester, who was limited on Wednesday, was a full participant on Thursday.

Consistency is the name of the game in any sport. If the STEELERS are going
to contend for a divisional championship, let alone a SUPER BOWL both
Troy and James have to be the lineup on a consistent basis. Not 1 out of every
    4!!

Love Harrison, but begining to think he is more of a liablity than an asset, with the tight salary cap, and him missing more games than playing. Setting himself up for early retirement. Get well soon fellas!

let me preface my remarks by saying I think Troy Polamalu & James Harrision are great players when they are available!! Like at work, saying is he/she are great workers when they are here, But to mgt./owners , my philosophy is they are not great employees when they are at work. Both men are hurt alot, father time is winning, time to move on with younger talent.!!!!
