Antonio Brown Post-Game Reaction

Posted by Teresa Varley on October 30, 2011 – 8:17 pm

WR Antonio Brown

You hadn’t had a victory of this caliber so far this season. You now have three huge games in a row, starting with this one. How much confidence does this win give you?
“It definitely gives us momentum. We need to continue to get better, continue to go to work on some plays we left out there. There are some thing we could do better.”

How much did you and Emmanuel [Sanders] talk about stepping up and replacing Hines’ [Ward] production this week?
“We didn’t talk that much. We expect to step up. Every time we are out there, we expect to make plays and expect to do our job. Doing that with Hines Ward and the veteran that he is being out, we knew that our plays were going to be key even more.”

As far as the start went, you were able to set the tone. How important was it to get off to a fast start against these guys?
“We came out [when] they deferred the ball and came out like, ‘right now.’ We didn’t want to wait and be lackadaisical and let them get on top of us. We got on top. But we finished. That’s more important.”

Good Interview and good responses from Antonio. Stay strong and stay classy Antonio. We Steeler fans love our current receiving corps and we love to see you all perform well and then go back to the huddle like it was just another day at the office. Keep your head and your egos in check and we will be in contention for Ring #7!
